The Wee Dram Summer Shield was started in the summer of 2005

a competition fished over a chosen weekend once a year

Kenny, Jim and Billy are the main competitors and will be open to any other family members whom choose to join in ( bearing in mind that this competition is for the big boys )

Tight Lines to all

2008

Well this years competition was over our fortnights holiday at Achmelvich near Lochinver lots of fish being caught Ling, Flounder, Mackerel, Gurnard, Pollack, Cuckoo Wrasse and Jim even caught a small Octopus

I (Kenny) led the competition with 3 Ling of about 2lb until the last day with Jim piping me at the post with 3 nice Pollack 2 weighing in at 5lb and 1 of 4 1/2 lb my hat goes off to Anthony as he tried his best to win this year

2007

competition was won by Jim at Tayvallich Loch Sween on the second day with a new species for him a lovely Thornback Ray of about 7lbs congratulations Jimbob

2006

 was won by Jim at Tayvallich and fished in Loch Sween, nearly won with a very small Pollock but Jim saved the weekend in the last twenty minutes of fishing with a nice four and a half pound Pollock

2005

Won by Kenny at Loch Sunart

with a lovely fifteen pound spurdog
